How good is Melodyne in automatically detecting and weeding out non-pitched elements? In Revoice I'd say it works phenomenally well (I regularly encountered artifacting with sss's in Nectar 2, none in Revoice).ģ. Which version of Melodyne 4 would I need feature-wise to be somewhat on par with Revoice Pro 4? Melodyne Studio or Editor? What would I gain, what would I lose - feature-wise? And is it worth it spending hundreds of dollars on Melodyne 4 now, assuming that Melodyne 5 must be right around the corner?Ģ. With both Revoice 4 Pro and Melodyne 4 having some tempting discounts right now (Revoice intro offer, Black Friday), I'm sort of in a hurry to decide which one to go with.
